SDAP Rescues 47 Dogs from Illegal Breeding Facility
In our largest single rescue operation to date, SDAP teams worked alongside local authorities to free 47 dogs from a clandestine puppy mill operating in deplorable conditions. The dogs โ ranging from newborn puppies to senior animals โ were transported to our main shelter facility where they immediately received emergency veterinary care.
The operation was initiated following a tip from a neighbor who noticed unusual activity on the property. Our legal team is working with the district attorney's office to ensure the perpetrators face the maximum penalty under state law.
